How to track Ozempic® in PepLabo

  1. Add Ozempic® to your shelf

Search the library for Ozempic®; it matches brand and substance names, even with typos. Pick the form you were given (single-dose pen, multi-dose pen, cartridge or vial) and add the lot and expiry if you like.

  2. Set your weekly day

Choose the day of the week and a reminder time. PepLabo counts down to it and reminds you before, on time and if a dose is missed.

  3. Log each dose in one tap

The dose is saved with the date and time. Ready pens need no unit math, and the pen counts down if you entered its content.

  4. Rotate injection sites

Tap where the injection went on a front and back body map. The last site shows on the Today screen, and a weekly heat map shows which areas rested. When you log a dose, it suggests the area you have rested longest among the ones you use, and you can always pick another.

  5. Note how you feel

A quick check-in records energy, sleep, mood and symptoms such as nausea or an injection-site reaction. You can link it to a dose from the 72 hours before; the app draws no conclusions.

  6. Follow weight, share a report

Log weight by hand or import it from Apple Health or Health Connect (Pro). A PDF of your dose log (Pro) is ready for your next appointment.

What the label saysWhat PepLabo does with it
Give a missed dose within 5 days; if more than 5 days have passed, skip it and take the next dose on the usual day [1].A follow-up arrives 30 minutes after a missed dose time, and Today marks the dose as overdue. PepLabo does not count the days or decide for you.
The weekly day can be changed if at least 2 days (48 hours) pass between two doses [1].Today shows your last dose and how long ago it was. You change the weekday in the schedule; whether to move it is your prescriber’s call.
Change (rotate) the injection site with each injection, as the Medication Guide says [1].Each log asks for the site on a front and back body map, and a weekly heat map shows which areas you used.
After first use, a pen can be kept for 56 days at room temperature or in the fridge [1].Enter the expiry date and PepLabo reminds you a week before and on the day. It does not count days since first use or days out of the fridge.

Questions

If I move from Ozempic® tablets to the pen, does my history stay?

Yes. Each product keeps its own entries. Pause or end the old schedule and add the new form; your earlier logs stay in your history and in the PDF report.

What should I log when I miss an Ozempic® dose?

PepLabo sends a missed-dose reminder, but it does not tell you what to do next. The package leaflet and your prescriber say how to handle a missed dose; you then log what you actually did.

Does PepLabo tell me what Ozempic® dose to take?

No. The amount, the timing and the treatment are decided by you and your prescriber; PepLabo writes down what was decided and reminds you when it is due.

Is PepLabo an official Ozempic® app?

No. PepLabo is an independent tracking app. Ozempic® is a trademark of Novo Nordisk A/S, and PepLabo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Novo Nordisk. For questions about the medicine itself, use the package leaflet and your prescriber.
