How we ranked these apps
We looked at each app through the eyes of someone running an injection routine week after week, and asked six questions:
- Is it built around the injection itself, or does the dose sit inside a food or fitness diary?
- Does it handle vials: what is left, reconstitution and units on the syringe?
- Does it keep injection sites and cycles with planned breaks?
- Do its reminders notice a missed dose and cope with a change of time zone?
- Where do your records live, and do you need an account to start?
- What is free, and what sits behind a subscription?
For other apps we used only their App Store listings, Google Play pages and websites. Where a table says “—”, we did not find the feature in those sources; it does not mean the app lacks it.
1. PepLabo: the best overall tracker for peptide and GLP-1 routines
PepLabo is built for people who inject. Each program has its own schedule, on and off periods and weeks off; each dose is logged with its compound, amount, time, site and vial; and the calculator turns a vial amount and the water you added into units on an insulin syringe. Reminders arrive before a dose, on time and again if nothing was logged. A side-effect check-in records energy, sleep, mood and symptoms and can be linked to any dose from the last 72 hours. Weight, progress photos, water and meals sit in the same app.
Pro adds Pep AI chat, meal estimates from a photo, your voice or a restaurant menu, Apple Health, Health Connect and WHOOP data, widgets, travel mode, Cycle Story and a PDF dose report for your clinician. It runs in six languages on iPhone and Android.
Strongest at: the whole injection routine in one private app. Keep in mind: there is no iPad, watch or web version yet, and no cloud sync. Price: free core; Pro is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year in the US, with 3 days free on the yearly plan for eligible new subscribers.

| No account, records on my phone | PepLabo | Tracking starts without sign-up, and the app has no analytics SDKs. |

| A report for my clinician | PepLabo | Pro builds a PDF dose report, and the full data file is free. |
| Only a detailed food diary | MyFitnessPal or Cronometer | Food databases are their core [8][10]. |

| Many daily pills for the family | Medisafe | It is a general medication reminder with family sharing [15]. |
Dedicated tracker or food app?
A food app can hold a dose as one more entry, and for a single weekly pen that may be enough. Once the routine includes powder vials, more than one compound, planned breaks or travel, the dose needs its own home: the vial it came from, the units you drew, the site you used and a reminder that does not give up when you are late. That is the gap PepLabo was built to fill, and why it sits at the top of this list.
Bottom line: keep a food app if you love it, and let PepLabo own the injections.
